The main objective of the advanced class is for dental assistants to understand and learn the chairside assisting skills of complicated surgeries, fixed orthodontic treatment and emergency management.

The course will cover 5 subjects/modules as follows:
1. Periodontal surgery
2. Implant surgery & restoration
3. Orthodontic fixed appliance
4. Emergency management


Average teacher-student ratio: 1 : 20 (for lecture), 1 : 5 (for clinical supervision)
