Learning Objectives:
Understand the significance of the periodontium in the long-term survival of the dentition and, therefore, the longevity and success of the dentist’s prescribed treatment.
Understand the various non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatment modalities available.
Understand when to indicate crown lengthening procedures to enhance the restorative outcome and perform simple crown lengthening procedures in non-aesthetic regions.

Understand the basics of tissue management and suture techniques, including clinical applications for simple surgical procedures, implant surgeries and crown lengthening surgeries.

Understand when to indicate crown lengthening procedures to enhance the restorative outcome and perform simple crown lengthening procedures in non-aesthetic regions.
