Dr Choo graduated with the University Bronze Medal. As an active Lions movement member, he has helped to raise funds for charity organisations both locally and overseas. He also renders his professional expertise to serve the residents of Lions Home for the Elderly. He was the President of the College of General Dental Practitioners Singapore in 2008-10. He is currently an elected member in the Singapore Dental Council.
